Nail art with loose glitter

I’m actually not completely done with the loose glitter manicures (I love those loose glitters, they are fantastic!). I had this idea of doing some kind of popping manicure with a high contrast between the glitter and the base so I had to try it.

I started with a white base and I did some half-moons on my nails side-wise, painting them with a turquoise polish, just to see where the glitter will end up. Using a transparent polish is what I’ve used before and while that approach works perfectly, using a colored polish is both easier as you see better where the glitter will end up and will make your glitter pop even more (given that you choose the right shade underneath).

I actually tried to brush off as much glitter as possible but it looks like some glitter is still stuck on the white surface but I can promise you that the few glitter particles left on the white are not visible in person unless you really look for it.

The turquoise loose glitter comes from Edgy Polish.

Supersnyggt! Gillar verkligen den lilla 3D-effekten det blir av glittret.
