Nail Art – Glitter Gradient

I’m usually painting my glitter gradients directly with the brush of the glitter polish. That gives me a nice and smooth gradient that transits from the base into the glitter in a great way. This time I did the gradient differently experimenting with other ways of making transitions between the two polishes so I went for the same method as I’m using when I do crème gradients: I used a sponge for the gradient. The method worked really well and while the result is different from the results that I’m usually getting from the polish brush method, this may work even better with certain types of glitter polishes or certain types of gradients when you don’t want the base to show at all from underneath the glitter.

The gradient is a combination of OPI – Don’t Touch my Tutu (don’t you just love that sheer base!!) and Shimmer Polish – Melissa.

Det blev väldigt snyggt! Svampade du med enbart glittret eller svampade du med basen också?
