Guest post at Eleven.se with a leopard print tutorial

Whenever I’m in a hurry and I want to paint a nail art on my nails I’d jump to a leopard print. It’s something about the randomness of the pattern where you don’t have to be so afraid of painting the wrong lines or dots and the eye-catchy result that makes me want to wear leopard prints quite often. It’s also the fact that you can experiment with different color combinations that really appeals to me. That being said I’m not a leopard print girl when it comes to clothes even if I do have a couple of pieces in my wardrobe with leopard print that I love.

The leopard print was one of the first nail art techniques that I did for my e-book and it’s now available in a tutorial at Eleven.se (in Swedish). I’ve had best results with the leopard print when I used lighter inner spots and a darker polish for the outer parts of the spots. It might be that even if one uses nontraditional colors as I’ve done with this manicure the result is closer to the real thing if the inner spots are lighter than the outer ones.

I’d love to hear your thoughts about the leopard print. Do you like wearing it on nails, on clothes, both or not at all?
