I’m sure you’ve seen all the blobbicures this spring. I’ve been meaning to do one for months but it wasn’t until Eleven.se asked me to do a tutorial on a nail art that I finally did it. The steps are pretty straight forward:
- Paint your nails with the base color
- Drop in some blobs on the nails while the base color is still wet
- Topcoat the result
Tips and tricks
- Step 1 and step 2 should be done in a sequence with little time in between if you want your blobs to spread.
- The longer you wait between step 1 and step 2 the rounder blobs you get. If you wait too long the blobbicure turns into a dotticure.
- Try on a piece of paper to see how much polish actually runs from the nail polish brush. The blob size is depending on the amount of polish that is dripping from your brush.
