Water marbling with Lilypad Lacquers

While wearing Blooming Violets from Lilypad Lacquer I wanted to try a water marbling together with Violet Moon. The polishes seemed somewhat related (besides the fact that they come from the same indie brand). It’s like they belong to the same color family… They even share the word “Violet” in the name of the polish! I created some kind of sideway lines, one of the easiest and fastest way of water marbling since you can dip several fingers into the same pattern and still get interesting results. For the marbling pattern above I dipped two fingers at a time.

Water marbling is one of the techniques described in my nail art e-book “Basic nail art techniques and how to combine them”.

Both Blooming Violets and Violet moon come from Edgy Polish.

Vad snyggt det blev! Water marbling är nåt av det jag tycker är svårast inom nail art, skulle verkligen behöva öva på det…
