Cirque Colors – The Live it up Collection part 1

On Thursday November the 13th Cirque Colors is releasing a five piece amazing glitter collection named The Live it Up Collection. The collection consists of two limited edition polishes and three regular ones and it’s inspired by the Holiday celebrations and Dance hits. I want to start by showing you today the limited edition ones named Holo-Day Cheer and 8 Crazy Nights!

Holo-Day Cheer. This is just the perfect blend for Christmas, don’t you think? You’ve got reds, greens, golds and silvers all blended in a clear base! A white base seemed like a light and cheerful base for this polish but it would look dramatic and amazing over black too! I must try that too soon!

8 Crazy Nights is just as amazing as Holo-Day Cheer. I layered it over a dark blue shimmer, Ciaté Knee Highs. This is a blue based glitter blended with holographic silver glitters that come in different shapes and sizes. I see squares and hexagonals of different sizes, all infused in a clear base. The shade of the blue glitters is actually medium blue so it could be worn over light colors as well as dark colors. I chose a dark color because I love wearing dark nails right now.

The two glitters were easy to work with. You get a great amount of glitter on the brush so it’s no need for fishing for glitters here. I used the dabbing technique to apply the glitter to get the most out of the first coat and it worked.  As I said before, these two shades are limited editions so if you want them make sure to pick them up before they are gone, starting with November 13th. 20% of net proceeds from the sale of Holo-Day Cheer & 8 Crazy Nights will be donated to City Harvest: A food rescue organization dedicated to helping feed the nearly 1.5 million New Yorkers facing hunger.
