I was very excited when I saw the first glints of the Elisabeth & Mary collection coming from A England! I usually love the A England formula and color choices and this collection looked very exciting! As soon as Edgy Polish launched the collection I was ready to order. My picks from this collection are Virgin Queen, Crown of Thistles and Fotheringhay Castle. All three have an extremely easy to apply formula and they covered in just one coat!! Now that’s one reason to love the A Englands, isn’t it! They all have a lovely holographic effect! You won’t get the big and loud rainbows that usually come with most of the linear holos but they look amazing in sunlight! Let’s take a look at them!
Virgin Queen – This shade is very hard to describe color-wise but it looks like a brown/gray holographic. The first picture is closer to the real shade while the second shows the holographic effect. It’s a very elegant and work appropriate shade. Virgin Queen is my favorite from these three!
Fotheringhay Castle – An olive green holographic shade that also looks classy on the nails! It’s gorgeous!
Crown of Thistles – I absolutely loved this one too! The color does remind me of some of the thistles seen here in Sweden!
Final thoughts: The buttery formula, the great shades, the subtle holographic effect, all these are typical to the A England polishes! It’s no surprise that I love these polishes and I see myself wearing them a lot in the near future! Depending on the mood I could wear Crown of Thistles to cheer me up and Fotheringhay Castle or Virgin Queen to a classy outfit.
Have you got any of the polishes coming from the Elizabeth & Mary Collection? Which one is your favorite from the ones that I’ve shown you today?
