Today’s theme is Inspired by a Flag and I chose the same flag as last year, the Swedish flag :D The approach was quite different though. I tried to paint some blue and yellow flowers last year while this year I tried needle marbling in the colors of the Swedish flag. The needle marbling is quite easy to obtain. I started with one thicker coat of Kiko – Electric Blue and continued by adding a yellow line (Pipe Dream Polish – Light of Day) on the middle of my nails starting with my cuticles and going down to my nail tips. Using a small nail art brush (it works just as well with a very small nail art brush or the smallest dotting tool) I dragged some horizontal lines going from one side of my nails to the other. Because of the green where blue meets yellow, it actually reminds me of the Brazilian flag more than the Swedish one :)
