31DC2014 – Day 13 Animal Print

Animal print (and leopard spots in particular) is one of my favorite type of nail art. The painting goes fast as you don’t have to paint anything “perfect” so I’m gladly painting them when I’m in a hurry and I still want to have some nail art on my nails. This time I wanted to paint the spots going from one nail to the other, so if you look carefully, the spots continue from the index finger to the long finger then to the ring finger and over to the pinkie. For this design I’ve used Essie – Chinchilly as a base (such a gorgeous polish!!) and A-England Encore Margot for the silver holographic polish in the middle of the spots and Nordic Cap NP12 for the black spots. If you want to see how to paint animal print, take a look at the two previewing chapters on my e-book at Amazon. The second chapter describes Animal Print and you can see both Leopard Spots and Zebra Stripes.

I’ve used both leopard spots and zebra stripes for last year’s Animal Print challenge.

Åh det här gillar jag verkligen. Så snyggt att du bara gjort leopardmönstret på en del av naglarna. :-)
