Nail Art – Dry Brush Technique

The dry brush technique is one nail art technique that I really love! Using polishes that contrast against each other the manicures can be eye catchy and oh so cool! For the manicure below I’ve used Kicks – Lemon Grass as a base then I added some brush strokes with Ciaté – Pepperminty, Ciaté – Hopscotch, Ciaté – Knickerbocker Glory then finally Nordic Cap NP12. I think the black is kind of finishing the manicure and adding more contrast to the already contrasting colors. For the technique to work you’ll have to try to wipe off as much polish as you can from the nail polish brush to get those distressed lines.

This is a scheduled post so I won’t be able to read the comments and answer to the questions right now but I’ll be doing that as soon as I get back from my vacation :)

Awesome hon! I yet have to dip my nails into more contrasting colors for this technique, so far I stayed on safe ground with more harmonizing choices – once more you are so inspiring to me <3
