The theme for today’s Nail Art Sunday at Lelack is Motivation. Wow, was that a hard theme or what? Instead of doing something that would illustrate “motivation” I thought I would think about things that motivate me and try to interpret that on the nails. I’m always in for learning new things and for the blog that means new nail art techniques or new nail arts so I thought for today I would try a new nail art. I had a couple of options for new nail art techniques (including camo-nails) but I ended up doing a Fan nail art. I started with China Glaze – In a Lily Bit and applied the horizontal strokes with a fan brush using OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Kicks – Spring Lilac. That was such an interesting nail art and fun technique! I would love to do that again soon!
Even though I loved how the fan nail art looked on it’s own I had to add some blue roses (well I needed some contrasts to the pink and purple :D ) and a frame, a nail art technique that I’ve recently used for the first time for about a week ago. The light blue is Nfu Oh MOR08 and the dark one is Essie – Under the Twilight. On the last picture you can see the fan nail art on it’s own.

That sounds like a difficult theme indeed! This nail art looks gorgeous, though :)
Snyggt! Och inspirerande att finna din motivation i för dig nya tekniker. Den motivation hade jag gärna också haft:)
