The moment I saw this year’s Resort collection from Essie I knew these colors would look fabulous together in a nail art. This week’s theme for the Nail Art Sunday at Lelack was stripes and I knew I wanted to use the polishes from this collection to do a manicure with stripes. I used Cocktails and Coconuts as a base and did a saran wrap over that base with Find me an Oasis (yes, I seem to be into saran wraps right now :D ). I freehanded then some thin stripes with Under the Twilight as some kind of funky French and continued with other stripes using Resort Fling. I wish Resort Fling would have shown better over the nude base but I guess the polish is more sheer than I remember it to be. It did cover enough though to make me happy so I only went over the stripes once. I added some studs at the cuticles as they seemed to complete the manicure.
