February roundup

We are one month closer to spring now, isn’t that great lovelies? Even if autumn is usually my favorite season I’m really looking forward to spring this year! Let’s see how February went so we can continue with March tomorrow! And speaking about tomorrow, the theme for tomorrow’s Nail Art Sunday is Flower Power and I have a great manicure in mind! I hope it turns out the way I want it to do :D

Nail Art Challenges

Besides the Nail Art Sundays that I’ve been participated in every week during February I’ve also participated in February Nail Art Challenge that the instagram profile @californails is organizing every month. In the beginning of the month I’ve also completed the #busygirlnails Winter Nail Art Challenge that had the theme “Blue”.

Features

I’ve had three features at Eleven.se this month. The first one was about IsaDora’s Ray of Light collection, the second was about glitters from Essie and the third was about OPI’s collaboration collection with Gwen Stefani. My favorite from these three blog posts is the one done with the Gwen Stefani polishes. And speaking about Eleven, did you (the Swedish readers) see that they’ve opened a store in Stockholm yesterday? I wish I could have been there to see it in person!

Nail Art

This month it was easy to pick three favorites that I really love even if I’ve left a couple behind that I would have loved to feature as my favorites. The first favorite that made it to my top three is a purple colored tape manicure. I haven’t had the patience to do a tape manicure again since that manicure yet :D. The second one is a Marimekko inspired manicure for Nail Art Sunday. Yay for themes, I wouldn’t have done a Marimekko manicure otherwise, it’s too far from my home style but I really loved wearing this. The third one is a floral manicure on a dark blue background. I loved this so much that I’ve used the same idea in a second manicure just days after taking the first one off :D

Polishes

I’ve been trying and wearing a lot of lovely polishes this month and I do have many more favorites than these three that I’ve picked out. I’ve tried some new brands like Nail Pattern Boldness, Polish Addict and F.U.N Lacquer and I’ve been loving some out of the ordinary polishes this month like a glow in the dark polish (Polish Addict – Blurred Lines) and a thermo polish (F.U.N Lacquer – Perfect for Me). My third favorite is Smitten Polish – To Me, you are perfect (Hehe, two perfect for me polishes this month, not bad :D )
