Turquoise & Caicos by Essie is one of those polishes that has been on my wish list like forever! I’ve got it for about a year ago but I haven’t worn it yet (!!) until yesterday when I suddenly felt it was time! The turquoise jelly is quite sheer but it still covers in three coats. The lovely turquoise has a dusty quality about it and I really love how it looks on my nails. When I put it on I also knew I wanted to do some black triangles at the cuticle bases. I’ve seen this kind of nail art for about a week ago at Pshiiit and wanted to try it right away. I did the triangles without a tape because I think it’s quicker to paint them by hand. The black polish is Nordic Cap NP12.

Thats a gorgeous color! Just the right balance between blue and green *_* i love green, this is a lovely “watery” green.
Reminds me of seladon, this lovely ceramic/porcelain glaze.
Now I want just that colour…
