Nail Art Sunday – Marimekko

The theme for today’s Nail Art Sunday at Lelack is Marimekko!! While I’m not a Marimekko girl I think their patterns are colorful, sometimes graphical and cool. The pattern I’ve chosen for today is the classical Marimekko flower. I did the entire pattern only with a dotting tool instead of a nail art brush because I wanted to see how much is doable with a dotting tool! Hehe, I had a lot of fun doing this, that’s for sure! For the manicure below I’ve chosen C&E – Raspberry/Fuschisia for the pink flowers. I’ve used the same polish for the index and pinkie fingernails too. The white is the famous OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls and the orange flowers are done with C&E – Clementine/Mandarine. The insides of the flowers are done with OPI – My Vampire is Buff while the black is Nordic Cap NP12.

    Haha, dottingtools är mycket användbara! Jag gjorde mina blommor med en sån också :) Tycker de är stadigare än pendlar.
    Jättefint blommor, och mycket likt originalet :)

    What a gorgeous mani!!! Love it, I got to know Marimekko only recently and was totaly exited about their bright and happy patterns though didn’t indulge in any of their stuff – yet….. <3
