Nail Art – Pastel

The theme for today’s February Nail Art Challenge is pastel. I wanted to try a new nail art technique today so I went for the dry brush technique. I started with OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls and added dry brushes of Mentality – Cobbler, China Glaze – Sweet Hook, Kicks – Lemon Grass and Ciaté – Pepperminty. When I was done with the brush strokes I looked at the design and I’ve got a very 80’s feeling about the color combination especially with the white background! I liked the technique but I think this would look much better with darker colors so I’ll be trying that soon again.

This is very beautiful! The colors are great, and applied in the brush strokes technique they give a wonderful soft abstract design! :)
