I’ve been a lot into art lately and one of the painters that I’ve been admiring is Gustav Klimt. Taking the inspiration from one of his famous paintings I did a nail art with elements coming from Adele Bloch-Bauer’s dress and transfered them to my nails.

As a base I used one of the polishes that I’ve received from A Lacquered Affair for Christmas, the absolutely gorgeous Catrice – Lilactric. This is a light lilac almost nude polish that has a beautiful golden shimmer. The polish covered in two easy coats and has a beautiful shine when worn on it’s own.

Catrice - Lilactric
The other two polishes used for the triangles are Ruby Kisses – Midnight Stars (the dark brown one with the golden shimmer) and another Catrice which has a gorgeous olive shade and which is named In the Armee Glow. Gustav Klimt uses a lot of gold in his paintings so I had to add some gold details in form of two lines that frame the triangles. For this I used OPI – All Sparkly and Gold.
I’m absolutely loving how this came out! I did the manicure last night and I hope it will last for at least a couple more days :D
