OPI released one of my favorites liquid sand polishes so far with the San Francisco collection. That polish is Alcatraz… Rocks and it’s a blue based liquid sand with lots of pink, green and blue sparkling small glitter particles. The application was good and the polish covered in two easy coats. It looks beautiful without a topcoat but wait until you see it with a topcoat on!

Yes, a topcoat brings up the bling even more! All those pink, blue, gold and green glitters are coming to live even more when the topcoat comes on! It’s just lovely with the topcoat on!

While we’ve already had our first snow (which is gone now), the manicure below might be a little early but I just have to share it with you today. I used OPI – Alcatraz… Rocks together with some winter-y stickers from Hail the Nails and I just loved the combination!

Hi Ina, this rocks your nail big time!!! Now I read in the comments “probably best polish of 2013” – I really, really should use Mine before the end of the year to be opinionated too. Did you just apply one regular layer of Top Coat?

You need more than one coat to get it shiny.. I don’t remember the exact number of top coats but it was more than one :D
