For today’s violet nails I played around with acrylic paints after watching a lot of Robin Moses youtube videos. The nails aren’t exactly a design she’s done but she has definitely inspired today’s nails. I’m not quite happy with how it turned out and I wish I could do thinner lines with my nail art brush but maybe I’ll be able to paint something similar soon and be happy with it :D. The base for the manicure is OPI – My Vampire is Buff (I’m starting to love that polish as much as My Boyfriend Scales Walls!!). The purple is acrylic paint but I did add some strokes of China Glaze – Randezvous with you.

Wow, these are really pretty. I feel your frustration of trying to get thinner lines. Still trying to figure that one out!
If you’re already using a very fine brush (I guess you are, lol), watering down your paint and wiping it off a little after you load it will help you to get thinner lines :)
