Stained Glass Manicure

I was in the mood for another stained glass manicure the other day and I ended up with these three colors:

  • Michelle – M32 is the blue creme on the pointer and the pinkie (I’ve got this one in a swap with the lovely A Lacquered Affair)
  • Lumene – Late Winter is the brown creme used on the long finger
  • OPI – My Vampire is Buff is the light colored creme used as a base on the ring finger

I’ve used two coats for all the nails. Then I started to paint triangles on the accent nail with a nail art brush and a black polish. I wish I did the triangles a little bigger since I felt like I didn’t have so much room for the colors :D With the same nail art brush I colored the triangles with blue and brown. The last time I did a stained glass manicure I’ve used a nail art pen. This time I’ve used a nail art brush. I think it’s easier to paint the black parts with a nail art pen so that’s what I’m going to use the next time.

Yay! I’ve always liked this look. I really want to try it but man it looks like a lot of patience! I was even thinking of using a sharpie because I’m scared I won’t get the lines right with a nail art brush haha.
