Polish Days – 7 Deadly Sins

Polish Days - 7 Deadly Sins

Polish Days - 7 Deadly Sins

This Polish Days’ theme was one of the hardest til now: 7 Deadly Sins!! It wasn’t until this weekend when I was talking to my dear friend from A Lacquered Affair about the theme of today’s Polish Days that I’ve actually got a direction of the nail art. She mentioned every sin is represented by a color! I had to google the colors and ended up with the rainbow on my nails lol!
Let’s take a look at the sins, the corresponding colors and the polishes I‘ve used for each sin:
Wrath – Red – China Glaze – Poinsettia
Gluttony – Orange – Orly – Melt Your Popsicle
Greed – Yellow – Ruby Kisses – Yellow Bikini
Envy – Green – Isadora – Go Green
Lust – light blue – Essie – Borrowed & Blue
Sloth – Dark Blue – Essie – Butler Please
Pride – Purple – China Glaze – Creative fantasy

Since I’ve recently done a watercolor manicure and I’m in love with the effect this technique gives I wanted to use it again and today it seemed like a perfect day for doing that. Here are the sins combined on the nails:
On the pointer I’ve combined Wrath and Gluttony (red and orange)
On the long finger nail I’ve combined Greed and Envy (yellow and green)
On the ring finger nail I’ve combined Lust and Sloth (light blue and dark blue)
On the pinky I’ve combined Sloth and Pride (dark blue and purple)

The base for this nail art is my most used (and loved) polish EVER OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

Such a beautiful effect! I have no idea how a watercolour mani is done, but definitely going to learn. Perfect choice on the favourite white base ;P
And glad to have helped, Ina ^_^
