Zoya – NYX

Today it’s blue Monday at Linda and I thought I would participate with this blue polish from Zoya.

After trying the Liquid Sand polishes from OPI I was really curious about Zoya’s textured polishes, the Pixie Dusts! While the Liquid Sands felt like sand paper on my nails, the Pixie Dusts felt a lot more like sugar. The surface is rough but not too rough. If you’ve had problem wearing the Liquid Sands because of their roughness and you want to wear textured polishes this could be an option for you. The first one I’ve tried is NYX which is a very pleasant medium to light blue. The polish is kind of sheer (I needed three coats for it to cover) and the drying time is somewhat longer than I expected it to be.

I had to try NYX with a topcoat on too to see how that looked and if you don’t like the rough surface and you still want to wear this polish that could be an option for you. I preferred it without the topcoat though.

    maybe the time to dry the polish is more longer because the texture:)

    Nyx looks so pretty on you! Love this shade! I do agree the texture on the Pixies is more fine and drying time is longer. I smudged mine so badly after 30mins, I had to redo and apply Seche Vite :(
    And yes, they look good without topcoat!
